Venue Info for Hillfield Strathallan College
1. Doors open at 7:45am
2. Eating space is available for teams
3. Water fountain/refill station is available
4. Potlucks are permitted
5. One changeroom is available per gender
6. No public wifi available
7. Spectator seating is available
8. Park at front of school and enter the school to the right of the turning circle or stay right and go to the back of campus and park near the gyms
9. General OVA Venue Rules:
a. No plugin appliances allowed
b. Respect restricted access areas
c. No volleyballs outside of the gym
d. Please clean up your bench area after each match
e. No food or drink other then water in the gym
10. Specific venue rules/additional notes:
a. No vaping in school – alarms present
b. No parking in the turning circle – you will be towed
Tournament Info for 15U Girls Provincial Cup - Select B
• Each team will be required to provide one athlete per match to act in the role of line judge, and one volunteer per match to act in the role of scorer/assistant scorer.
o Please see section 6.19 of the Youth Competitions Manual for the full policy
• Results are only tracked on www.timu.ca/ova
• There is a 25-minute lunch break upon completion of pool play. The 25-minute lunch break does not start until all pool play matches are complete on all courts.
• Warm-up protocol will start immediately after the completion of the previous match.
o Primary (8-4-4) for all teams’ first match of the day
o Secondary (2-4-4) for all remaining tournament matches
• REMINDER: Teams are responsible for bringing their own medical supplies for the event.
• Tie-breaking procedures for pool play ranking can be found in section 5.7 of the Youth Competitions Manual.
• The following re-alignment will occur for the 15U Girls Challenge Cup:
o The 1st-4th Place teams from each Select event will be placed in the Premier division.
o The 9th Place team from each Select event will be placed in the Championship division.
o The 1st Place team from each Championship event will be placed in the Select division.
o The 7th-9th Place teams from each Championship event will be placed in the Trillium White division.
o The 1st Place team from each Trillium White event will be placed in the Championship division.
o The 7th-9th Place teams from each Trillium White event will be placed in the Trillium Green division.
o The 1st Place team from each Trillium Green event will be placed in the Trillium White division.
