Tournament Info for 18U Girls Provincial Cup - Trillium Green E
- *NEW FOR 25/26 SEASON* - The Head Coach of each team is responsible for presenting their official MRS team roster—either printed or electronically—to the referee at the start of every OVA-sanctioned regular season match.
- The referee will verify that all individuals listed on the game sheet are also included on the MRS roster. Any coach or athlete not listed on the MRS roster will not be permitted to sit on the bench or participate in the match until they are properly added to the roster.
o Please reference the full policy by clicking the 3 horizontal lines on the top left corner of the screen, then click on “Documents” followed by “MRS Roster”
- Coaches can join the ref meeting at 8:30am if they like (Not Mandatory).
- Each team will be required to provide one athlete per match to act in the role of line judge, and one volunteer per match to act in the role of scorer/assistant scorer.
- Please see section 6.19 of the Youth Competitions Manual for the full policy
Results are only tracked on www.timu.ca/ova
- There is a 25-minute lunch break upon completion of pool play. The 25-minute lunch break does not start until all pool play matches are complete on all courts.
- Tie-breaking procedures for pool play ranking can be found in section 5.7 of the Youth Competitions Manual.
- Warm-up protocol will start immediately after the completion of the previous match.
o Primary (8-4-4) for all teams’ first match of the day
o Secondary (2-4-4) for all remaining tournament matches
- REMINDER: Teams are responsible for bringing their own medical supplies for the event.
The following re-alignment will occur for the 18U Girls Challenge Cup:
- The 7th place teams from the Premier Bracket of the Fall Classic will be placed in the Select division.
- The 1st place teams from the Select Brackets of the Fall Classic will be placed in the Premier division.
- The 7th-9th Place teams from each Select event will be placed in the Championship division.
- The 1st Place team from each Championship event will be placed in Select division.
- The 7th-9th Place teams from the Championship event will be placed in the Trillium White division.
- The 1st Place teams from each Trillium White event will be placed in the Championship division.
- The 7th-9th Place teams from each Trillium White event will be placed in the Trillium Green division.
- The 1st Place team from each Trillium Green event will be placed in the Trillium White division.
o Please see section 5.4 of the Youth Competitions Manual for information on how additional vacancies are filled in upcoming events.
